Joined Tamesis in September 2003 and sings alto.

Charlie spotted the audition notice for the new Tamesis choir when exploring Reading in 2003 after moving to the area from Cheshire. A member since that first season, she has steadily progressed along the front row, through the soprano parts to her current position in the 2nd altos. She likes to think of this as promotion! Before Tamesis, she sang with the Chester Chorale, Nantwich Singers and Fitzwilliam College Cambridge's Chapel Choir, with whom she toured Hungary. A brief foray into musical theatre in the cast of the AAOS production of Showboat at the Crewe Lyceum convinced her that she is more about the singing than the acting! A stalwart of the post-rehearsal pub crowd, Charlie cherishes her Tamesis friends and social life. She also looks after choir publicity and marketing.
